The agreement, in plain sentences

Egantic is provided by HG E-Commerce Online BV, Bagven Park 16, 4838 EH Breda, Chamber of Commerce no. 84623969, VAT NL863285806B01. The software is built by Cogenta. Where it says "we" below, we mean HG E-Commerce Online BV.

Every night Egantic measures how your products are doing on bol: search positions, impressions, prices, buy box and reviews, for you and for the competitors in your measuring field, plus search volumes and advertising pressure. You decide which products, competitors and search terms count.

When you add a product, Egantic loads the history of the past 30 days.

What has not been measured, we say so. We never fill a missing measurement with an estimate or a zero.

You can connect Egantic to your own Claude or ChatGPT. You do this through a login at Egantic in which you choose the workspace.

A connection can be read-only; then nothing changes. You can also give it write access, for things like a price, a stock level or a bid. Your AI then makes small changes within fixed limits itself, such as a limited price step, and prepares everything else: that only happens after your approval. You can adjust those limits or make them stricter.

You revoke a connection under Instellingen → Je AI (Settings → Your AI). A revoked connection stops working immediately.

What the assistant does with the data and how it answers falls under the terms of the provider of that assistant. An AI answer can contain errors; check what matters to you against the measuring day and the source shown with it.

Egantic reads from bol with your own keys. Nothing changes on your bol account without your permission: a read-only connection cannot change anything, and a connection with write access stays within the limits above.

Every change is recorded with time and source in your log (Logboek).

We measure every night, and if a night fails the system completes it during the day. Our own outages and fixed errors are listed on the status page.

We depend on bol. If bol is down or changes its interface, we measure less or nothing until it is restored. You will see that in the measurements.

That you use your own bol keys and do not share them. That you remain responsible for what is on your bol account: you are the seller there, we are a tool.

That you pass on your buyers' data to us only to the extent you are allowed to yourself. The arrangements for that are in the data processing agreement.

That you do not use the product to operate someone else's account, and do not resell it under another name.

For each product you add you pay a one-off €5.00 for the check. After that you pay a daily price per product for as long as you follow it.

The daily price depends on the measuring level you choose under Instellingen → Meten (Settings → Measuring): €0.10 per product per day with 25 competitors per product, €0.15 with 75 competitors and €0.20 with all competitors.

All amounts exclude VAT. There is no subscription and no cost per user.

Your questions to your AI cost nothing with us: they run on your own Claude or ChatGPT account. We do not pass on any tokens.

The first 3 products are free: you pay no check for them, and no daily price for the first 14 days. If you keep them after that, the normal daily price applies. No credit card is needed. One trial per bol account.

Invoices are sent monthly in arrears. We announce price changes one month in advance.

Deactivate a product and measuring stops the same day. You can cancel your workspace whenever you want, without notice period and without a reason. You pay for what you used up to that moment, nothing more.

After cancellation you have thirty days to request an export of your data. After that we delete everything, including the derived data. We keep no copy.

We can also terminate, with one month's notice, or immediately if you use the product to harm someone else.

We do our work as well as we can, but this is software that measures, and the explanation comes from an AI you choose. Decisions about your prices, your stock and your advertising remain yours.

Our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last three months. This limit does not apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.

We are not liable for lost revenue due to outages at bol, or due to a decision you made based on a measurement or an AI answer.

If we change these terms in substance, we will let you know one month in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the District Court of Zeeland-West-Brabant (rechtbank Zeeland-West-Brabant), unless the law prescribes otherwise.
